Puppies are ready for adoption when they are around 8 weeks old, at that time you are welcome to schedule a visit to adopt a puppy from among any "available" puppies. Should you want to "Reserve" a puppy to assure placement with you on "Adoption Day" we do offer the following Reserve Policy below.
Reserve Policy
($200 Refundable Deposit plus $10 paypal user fee) = $210 deposit reserves a puppy in the litter to assure placement with you on the "Adoption Day" when they are ready for their new homes. (Please see refundable deposit policy below). This deposit will then be applied towards the purchase price of the Reserved Puppy.
Option #1 - Advance Deposit This option is for those that have already determined that upon purchasing a Boxer you would like your puppy to come from Box Elder Creek; and that it is only a matter of time before the puppy of your choice has arrived. ALimited amount of "Advance Deposits" will be accepted on each upcoming litter. Those that have placed an advance deposit will pick from among the puppies in the order their name was added to the list for that litter; should a puppy of your preference fail to make it's arrival in that litter your name may be transferred to the next upcoming litter. **Limiting the amount of Advance Deposits will help assure the wait time for a puppy is short and will also help assure that there will be some puppies available to others at the time of their arrival.
Option #2 - Regular Deposit Puppies will be individually pictured on our website at aproximately 1 week of age, you may elect to place a deposit to reserve any "available" puppy at that time.
Time-line & Updates!!
Around 3 days old - Group pictures and litter information will be posted.
Approx. 3 days - 1 week old - Those that have placed Advance Deposits will be emailed individual pictures and choose from among the puppies.
Approximately 1+ week of age - The Individual pictures of the puppies will be posted on our website and any "available" puppies may then be reserved by others.
** We will be updating pictures of the puppies periodically so that you can watch them mature and grow and those that have reserved a puppy will receive updates as to their progress. Video will also be provided for everyone's enjoyment at 7 weeks of age.
At around 6 weeks of age - Those that have reserved a puppy will receive a lot of detailed information to help you get prepared for your puppy's homecoming.
At around 7 weeks of age - The puppies go for their Vet Check-Up and those that reserved a puppy will be notified of the results of their puppy's "Report Card". Arrangements are then made for puppies to go home with their new families on the Adoption Day.
At around 8 weeks of age - Puppies are ready to be welcomed into their new homes!!!
Box Elder Creek reserves the right to 1st pick from among the puppies should we so choose to exercise that right.
Refundable Deposit Policy
Refundable Deposits will only apply to those picking up their puppy in person on the Adoption Day. Advance Deposits are Non-Refundable but will become Refundable once a specific puppy has been reserved. Upon examining and meeting your reserved puppy in person; if you have a legitimate concern regarding your choice of puppy, our adults, or the home they are all raised in, we will refund your deposit. Your Deposit will not be refunded under any other conditions. This includes but is not limited to; landlord disputes, allergies in the family, unforeseen circumstances, timing, you changed your mind, financial hardship etc.

Our puppies are always priced individually upon arrival. However.... general pricing is listed on our Pricing Information Page.
Payment Information
Paypal is the safest and easiest way to send the Reservation Deposit. It is quick and easy to use, with or without, a Paypal Account. Should a Buyer reserve a puppy, we will send you a Money Request from Paypal via E-mail so that you can send your $200 deposit + the $10 user fee. We will also accept a Cashiers Check or Postal Money Order for the Deposit, if requested. However, the Deposit would need to be overnighted to us, to ensure the placement of the puppy with you. PLEASE NOTE: We accept CASH ONLY for the remaining balance due at the time your puppy is picked up.
AKC Registration Policy
Puppies are registered with the AKC. All our puppies are purchased as "pets/companions" and are sold on a Spay/Neuter agreement that requires the procedure be done by 8 months of age. All our puppies sold as "pets" have AKC Registration papers that will be "Limited"; this means that your Boxer is registered with the AKC but that it is being purchased for a "Pet/companion" and breeding/show rights are not given, offspring would not be registrable. Your puppy may compete in Obedience, Agility etc. but is not eligible to be shown in a Conformation Event. Full Registration which includes breeding & show rights are only given occasionally on a very limited basis and must be arranged in advance.
Shipping
Shipping is available for an additional $350.00 and covers the Airfare, Health Certificate & Shipping Crate. We offer shipping in the United States to Major Airports through Continental Airlines Pet Safe program. Please make sure we are aware that your puppy will need to be shipped and appropriate methods of payment for the balance due will be discussed at that time.
